This site presents Borealmap and its offers. The example diagrams are fictional: the organizations, names, amounts and identifiers they contain do not exist. The prices, features and dates shown are a description of the offer as of the date of the page and do not constitute a firm offer. Only a signed purchase order binds Borealmap.

The service, in summary

The service is provided by subscription, under a signed purchase order that specifies the plan, the number of seats, the groups, the term and the price.
Access is through the customer’s Microsoft Entra ID directory, or through a sign-in code emailed to invited people. One seat corresponds to one distinct person.
No free plan. Prices in CAD, taxes extra, billed annually.
Features announced as “planned” or “in pilot” are not included until they are delivered and listed on the purchase order.

Your data

The customer remains the owner of its content. Borealmap uses it only to provide the service, never to train an AI, for advertising or to resell it.
The customer can export its content at any time in open formats (JSON, SVG, HTML). At the end of the contract: 30 days to export, then active deletion and a deletion receipt.
The processing of personal information is governed by a data processing agreement.

Artificial intelligence

Borealmap provides no AI feature and sends no customer content to an AI provider. If the customer connects its own AI, that connection, the data exposed, the results and their use are entirely the customer’s responsibility. The customer must verify these results before relying on them.

Acceptable use

It is prohibited, among other things, to share an account or a seat, to bypass sign-in, to probe the service for vulnerabilities without written authorization, to overload the service, to place illegal content in it, or to use it to build a competing service. Responsible disclosure of a vulnerability is welcome.

Service levels (pilot targets)

Availability objective of 99.5% per month during the pilot, without database high availability. These are targets, not guarantees: no history exists, as the service is not yet deployed. Support in French, business days, by a single person.

Governing law

The contract is written in French at the request of the parties. The governing law and the settlement of disputes will be specified in the contract, after review by a Quebec lawyer.
